To make sure our video does not go horribly wrong and look cheesy, we wanted to focus on a performance video rather than narrative, although including some shots of narrative. To do so we thought of the idea of using long shots and wide shots so that the movement of the mouth isnt so clear.
We also thought that by making the rapping more exciting, we could use a number of mouths, male and female to rap parts of the song, like Black Eyed Pea's did on their single 'Where is the love' and Example's 'Kickstart'. This could be a really effective technique to use.
Lastly, at the start of the song 'Love the way you lie' we were thinking of filming the flashbacks of the two different couples fighting, or possibly just show one couple at a time, to save confusion of the audience, and only when Rihanna's singing part of the first chorus comes in, the couples or girl depending, begin to reminisce over their good times, and so the plot of our performance starts in our video. (As we want to focus more on the happytimes of the story to contrast the songs lyrics and make it feel more upsetting and depressing that this is how the couples have turned out.)
