Genre's and song choices

We are currently debating which music genre to choose. We have had a number of idea's, ranging from indi/rock to pop. We want to focus on a narrativee music video as we like the idea of a storyline going on during the singing. We want to stay away from using too much performance video as it could come across as being quite cheesy.

We found a song from the film Matilda - written by Rusted Roots - 'Send me on my way'



We have also been looking at Examples songs; Kickstarts and Last one standing as both have an upbeat rhythm which we could easily do a narrative video with. They also have meaningful lyrics.
